Graphic design is what I've been doing professionally for over 20 years. From brand identity & packaging design to trade show booths and newspaper layout, if it's a project that's been committed to the printing press, I've probably touched it. But along the path my love for design has expanded to encompass other creative outlets. For the past four years, I've been working as a Video Producer creating assets to support a national consumer multi-brand marketing team. As a Filmmaker, I created Dumb Drum as an outlet for my creative ideas in the realm of moving images. As an extension of that endeavor, I founded the award-winning film festival Swede Fest based in Fresno, California. The event was the first of its kind and has since sparked a rabid movement in itself that has spawned satellite film festivals in Tampa Bay and West Palm Beach, Florida. Now on its 18th installment, Swede Fest has grown to receive entries from as far away as Hungary, Russia, Germany, Spain and many other countries from around the world. Despite its success, my desire to support independent filmmaking has kept the event free to enter, free to attend, and open to all ages. Swede Fest has also given me the ability to make some pretty cool props out of cardboard & duct tape. Y sabes que?! Tambien hablo Español! Tu sabes, para cuando se ofrece.
