Fresno Filmworks
Established in 2002, Fresno Filmworks' main goal was to cultivate a deeper appreciation of cinema. Through monthly film screenings and the annual Fresno Film Festival, the all-volunteer nonprofit works hard to create a meaningful movie experience that cannot be found at the commercial multiplex. As a board member for 3 years, I handled various aspects of the marketing duties for the organization.
"I Heart Film" Campaign
The "I Heart Film" campaign was developed and designed to communicate the non-profit organization’s mission to showcase first-run films that would otherwise be relegated to the home market due to major theater chains’ policy of avoiding films that aren't mass market hits.
2016 Fresno Film Festival—Elevating Film
The theme for the 2016 Fresno Film Festival was chosen to showcase what the organization was doing for the film community in Fresno. Partnering with a local agency and photographer to develop the creation of visual assets, I art directed the development of all promotional materials for the event.
Monthly Screenings
Using assets from the film distributers and our volunteer copy writers, monthly handbills were created to promote our monthly screenings.
